Important COVID-19 Announcement

Due to the unprecedented times we are living in, the archbishop announced this afternoon (17 March) that public worship in C of E Churches is now suspended for the foreseeable future.

This means no services on Sundays, Wednesdays, music practice or home groups for the time being.

Go to the Audio and Video section of this website for Sunday worship that you will be able to watch from any device.

Welcome to St. John's

St. John’s is a vibrant evangelical church within the Church of England. We welcome every person into our diverse and wonderful church community, praying they will discover who Jesus is, and grow in understanding and faith.

We are passionate in worship and prayer, and keep the Bible at the centre of everything we do together. Our Sunday morning services cater for different needs, with a slightly quieter communion service at 9am; followed by a livelier 11am service led by our worship band with an interactive children’s ministry and engaging young peoples work. We encourage everyone to join a small group to grow their faith, develop friendships, and go out to serve where they live and work.

We believe that God powerfully changes lives, and look forward to sharing this with you.
